Nearly finished my level 3 in nail technology, although I already did gel nails from attending another small course, I've been out of the beauty industry for awhile after lockdown and just started back into it. Nails wasn't my favourite thing to do and I wanted to get more confidence and comfortable with nails. Nina and Kathy have been brilliant teachers really showing and hands on with practical and very supportive with the theory work too! I've met some of the other tutors too who do beauty, hairdresser's and Barbering and they're really nice and welcoming too and once you've met them you want to learn from them as you can tell their very professional and good in what they do. The other students are all very supportive of each other and we practice and bring models in to share. It's a very supportive place to learn and I don't feel my learning difficulties are an issue in this environment, would definitely recommend to anyone who has a passion to learn.
The staff at platinum are the most supportive people, they have worked alongside me and boosted my confidence in my level 3 beauty therapy course. At first I was really nervous and scared I would do something wrong, but my tutor Esther has been amazing at calming my nerves and allowing me to make mistakes and help me improve. The course itself is very interesting and practical. No day is the same at platinum and it’s the highlight of my week every week!

I started the hair course a little anxious thinking I was too old but wow I didn’t need to worry, the tutors are so friendly & professional, they make you feel at ease & really know their stuff. I would highly recommend to anyone that’s thinking about taking up a course & unsure to just do it, you won’t regret it.
